Drought Aid

Compass travels to the New South Wales outback town of Lightning Ridge where Bush Church Aid is applying a practical 'hands on' approach to helping drought affected farmers cope with the enormous physical and emotional strain they are under. By supplying stock feed and volunteers from the city to help with the ‘day to day’ hand feeding of starving stock, BCA is bringing hope and encouragement to remote and isolated communities still suffering from the longest drought in living memory.
