ECHOES OF A BROKEN PROMISE is a dedication to the stolen generation. The story depicts the journey of an Aboriginal woman visiting her stolen childhood. Themes such as self identity, childhood, assimilation, past and present - are explored throughout the film via symbolic images and sound.
