Eleven Powers, The

One of the most spectacular happenings of this century took place on the island of Bali in recent times. Years of prophesy and months of preparation culminated in the spectacular festivities known as the Eka Dasa Rudra, or Festival of the Eleven Powers. It is called into being every 100 years to mark the closing of the Balinese century and reestablish the balance of positive and negative forces in the world.
