FINNISH BBQ is a short documentary film about Ossi Konsti, the Finnish migrant who brought the sauna to Australia. Coming from a far away country covered in snow seven months per year, not speaking a word of English and with no previous sauna culture in Australia, the odds against him seemed overwhelming: 'It is so bloody hot here in Australia that it was like trying to sell coals to Newcastle.' - FINNISH BBQ is a celebration of the multicultural diversity of Australia and a story of cultural survival in a new environment.
