Flight of the Diamonds

Based on the shooting down of a DC3 aircraft by Japanese fights north of Broome on 3/3/42 this is the story of the survivors and a modern expedition to find the wreckage and look for $11,000,000 worth of missing diamonds. The documentary consists of three elements: The expedition; archival footage and photographs; dramatised reenactments of the events.
