Synopsis

FLOODED DREAMS is set in the far south-west of New South Wales where members of the Borlindji community at Lake Victoria are struggling to protect what is believed to be the largest preindustrial Aboriginal burial site in Australia. Raising the lake to provide water for irrigation, local land holders flood the burial sites. The film looks at the different views held within the Aboriginal community and by the landholders over the burial sites.
