Without doubt, the Flying Scotsman is the world's most famous locomotive. It was the first locomotive in Britain to officially clock 100 miles an hour on the run to Scotland. This program is the story of the Scotsman, and features historic footage of it travelling through the English countryside and visiting America, but chiefly it is the story of its journey to Australia for the Bicentennial Celebrations.
