1986 was the International Year of Peace, in which peace movements around the world were making a concerted effort to lessen the chances of nuclear war. This program looks at that effort, and at the Australian government's peace plan, which is administered by Stella Cornelius. Also appearing is Andrew Mack of the centre of Peace Studies at the Australian National University.
