Movies and glamour with the secretive and hirsute women's shoe fetishist. These are among many bizarre and hilarious characters I have encountered on buses, streets, park benches, in lifts, and pubs all over Sydney. Powerless to escape, I have emerged with strange but true stories to tell. FREAK MAGNET is a comedy of real characters and experiences through my eyes and parodies my own irrational terror at possessing some kind of intangible quality which lures strangers to me when I've sought solitude in the city.
