Synopsis

An opera made in Canberra. “From A Black Sky” is an opera set in suburban Canberra during the 2003 bush fires. It is the first of its kind, developed by Canberran key creative’s and performed at the Street Theatre. This documentary takes a look past the drama and passion of the opera itself and at the creative process behind the production.
