Good Morning Alice

An elderly Vietnamese couple arrive in Alice Springs from Cantho, in Vietnam, brought by their daughter, and son-in-law Vu, former boat people who have lived in the Alice for ten years, and built up a successful building business. But Vu's contracts are in remote Aboriginal settlements, which means harsh conditions and long separations from his family. This program records the family reunion and looks at Vu's outback life, and also at the lives of his Vietnamese workers and their families.
