Kalachakra Initiation

Secret Tantric rituals such as Kalachakra Initiation could once only be seen by initiates in Tibet. However, this initiation, conducted by the Dalai Lama, was filmed amongst the exile community in India. The Kalachakra in Sarnath in 1991 was a gathering of 100,000 Tibetan and Himalayan peoples for a week long ceremony. It was an important event of social, cultural and spiritual value.
