LOVE AND RAZOR WIRE is an emotional, beautifully told story of the strength of a woman's love in the face of adversity. Last year Emily married an asylum seeker from Tanzania named Kasian. For more than two years the Australian immigration department has detained Kasian at Baxter detention centre in South Australia. As the dramatic events of the 2005 Easter protests at Baxter unfold, Emily's feelings of frustration and anger towards those people who are oppressing her husband are transformed.
