Synopsis

Man of Steel is a short documentary film about Tony Mather, a fanatic supporter of former National Rugby League club, the Illawarra Steelers. Tony has since found a band of like-minded rugby league fans on social media, establishing the popular Illawarra Steelers Facebook fanatics group. With the success of the Illawarra Cutters in the 2016 NSW Cup and the St George Illawarra Dragons making a positive start to 2017, local rugby league pride has led to an influx of followers to Tony's page.
