Synopsis
Imagine a condition that causes the average IQ to plummet from 100 points to a staggering 85. THE MAN WHO SAVED A MILLION BRAINS follows the work of Professor Cres Eastman. For the past 20 years, he and his team have been fighting Iodine Deficiency Disorder (IDD) throughout China, and most recently, in the remotest parts of Tibet. Alarmingly, the disease is now reemerging in Australia. IDD is the world's most common preventable cause of brain damage. 2.2 billion people live in areas with some measure of iodine deficiency.
