Migrants, The

The influx of migrants into Australia after World War II brought major changes, not only to Australian attitudes and connections to the outside world, but to the nature of Australian society itself. The more cohesive migrant communities showed the old Australians new ways to enjoy themselves, and injected vitality into all areas of life.
