Archetypal good Jewish girl Shelley, escapes family expectations by falling in love with the leader of one of America’s most active terrorist organizations. Thrust into a world that walks the line between activism and terrorism, Shelley faces alienation from her family, then the imprisonment and violent death of her friends, her husband and ultimately her son.
