Safety has always been of paramount importance in the airline industry, and in the era of wide-bodied jets which are capable of carrying hundreds of passengers, new safety techniques have had to be developed. This program examines the crash monitoring programs run by the US Federal Aviation Agency and Transport Australia. The program looks at fire hazard reduction techniques, new electronic landing systems, and recent crashes.
