Heiress Stephanie Harper marries tennis star Greg Marsden, a ruthless opportunist who has one eye on his wife's money and the other on her closest friend Jilly Stewart. Later Jilly joins the couple at Eden, the magnificent Harper estate in the Northern Territory. On a crocodile hunting expedtition Greg hurls Stephanie into the water, where she is taken by one of the huge reptiles as he and Jilly look on. But unknown to Greg and Jilly, Stephanie survives and seeks revenge.
