Shot against the rugged Kimberley region of Western Australia, this film showcases the music of the Pilgrim Brothers. Interspersed with performances of their songs, the six members reflect individually on the inspiration for their music created by their cultural heritage and environment. A land where fire-red cliffs of the Kimberley and deep blues of the Indian Ocean are offset by pristine beaches... and a lifestyle of living off the land and hunting from the sea. SALTWATER COUNTRY is a music documentary with the smell of fresh air and feel of sand between the toes.
