Synopsis

Mick Fanning is a three-time ASP World Champion, a wildlife conservationist and an ocean activist but in 2015 his legend was created on a live telecast of the J-Bay Open in South Africa. Fanning encountered a great white shark. Awaiting the first wave of his final the shark struck and dragged Fanning beneath the water. Luckily he walked away unscathed. Shaken by the incident, but unbeaten, Fanning is now returning to the water to help people to better understand these magnificent predators.
