Saving Orangutans

Kim Watkins journeys to the heart of Indonesian Borneo to witness the decimation of vast regions or primary rainforest for logging, mining and palm oil plantations. Wild orangutans are being killed and orphaned as a result of this wholesale destruction. Kim meets hundreds of orangutans condemned to life in care centres and a few still lucky enough to remain in their dwindling jungle.
