SISTERS IN ARMS is a one-hour documentary, commemorating one-hundred years of Australian military nursing. Through personal stories told in the nurses' own words and rare archival footage, SISTERS IN ARMS is an emotional insight into the lives of Australian nurses serving behind the front lines. It includes stories of duty, adventure and romance - moving accounts that bring home the reality of war - from nursing battle casualties under fire, to being captured and held prisoner of war.
