Synopsis

Australia imprisons almost as many black children as they do in South Africa. Today 25 percent of all juveniles in New South Wales jails are Aborigines though they form less than two percent of the population. Made by a crew of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians, this program asks why police are under-using alternative procedures to criminal charges, such as counselling, and why they target Aboriginal juveniles. Provocative television.
