Synopsis

Stand Up is an intimate, personal story about emerging aboriginal stand up comedian Karen Edward’s and her journey from chronic Kidney disease to the stage. After a life changing transplant, the loss of her sister from suicide and coming second place at last years Deadly Funny Awards, she’s preparing to make a bigger impact on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival by performing with fellow indigenous comedians Josh Warrior and Dane Simpson.
