Surfing the Healing Wave

Aboriginals come from all over Australia to compete in a most unique and colourful event - the annual Indigenous surfing contest at Fingal on the far north coast of New South Wales. This contest, with its celebration of Indigenous culture is an opportunity for people to renew lost family connections and meet with other Indigenous surfers from Bali, New Zealand and other close regional neighbours.
