Swallows' Nest

Ritchard is a man in his thirties who is unable to cope with his life and society. And society is equally unable to cope with him. He has been in and out of various hospitals, has a tendency to drink and thus becomes very aggressive. His belief in his power of ESP is unfounded. This is a form of attitude that comes from his being schizophrenic. The doctor realises the pattern of Ritchard's mind but is unable to help. Ritchard finally succumbs to his illness to end his pain.
