Taking Control

Doctor Bawden points out that Australia is not isolated from world economic crises and environmental problems - the world is a tight, integrated system, both environmentally and ecologically, and problems in these areas show no respect for international boundaries. However, Australia has some unique advantages, and is well placed to learn from the mistakes of other countries, and from the mistakes we have made in our own land management. Dr. Bawden discusses how individuals can take control and find new ways of looking at our role in society as consumer, investor or worker.
