Synopsis
Ultra-processed foods now make up nearly half the average Australian’s diet - but has the food industry conned us by deliberately engineering food that’s not only harmful to our health, but addictive as well? The alarming rise in the prevalence of ultra-processed foods has seen a corresponding rise in the incidence of many life-threatening illnesses. In ‘The Great Australian Food Con’ presented by Craig Reucassel we’ll meet scientists, marketing experts and industry insiders who’ll reveal the tricks of the food trade. We'll also launch a campaign to demand better regulation around the manufacture and marketing of ultra-processed foods.
