They Call Me The Slave Driver

This story is about Mikey Maas' a tireless Dutch born community leader in Gunnedah. For the past dozen years she has been the driving force behind the city's Australia Day activities and celebrations which are perhaps unequalled around the country. This program looks at the days leading up to and during Australia's national day in Gunnedah. Through this documentary, we learn that community spirit, generosity and affection is alive and well — at least in Gunnedah.
