Time and Tide

Set in a remote town in China, when a once-proud patriarch suffers a stroke, the burden of his care falls on his estranged wife, who has long wanted to leave their unhappy marriage, and his second daughter, a single mother struggling to make ends meet. TIME AND TIDE is a hybrid non-fiction film about contemporary China, seen through the eyes of a multigenerational family navigating ageing, hurt and the weight of family responsibility.
