Synopsis
WAYS OF BEING, WAYS OF TALK looks at how Aboriginal English has evolved as a separate dialect in this country, and why it's important everyone acknowledges it as legitimate. The way we speak English is a distinct part of culture and identity. It's been shaped by our history: put simply, we speak the way we do because of what we've been through. It's a marker of who we are as a people. From the Message Stick series.
