The true-life story of two young women reporters interlaced with evocative sepia archival footage from The Australian Women's Weekly of the war years. A combination of dramatised recreation and newsreel footage telling Australia's World War II story - at home and abroad - through the eyes of the people who worked on Australia's best known weekly publication and who faced the tasks of creating and reflecting the public's mood.
