Where Cannibals Roam

WHERE CANNIBALS ROAM takes us through the seldom explored tropical jungles of Irian Jaya to meet some of the world's last cannibals. Our expedition involves a group of anthropological students who cross Irian Jaya from north to south, capturing scenes on film, which in the light of changing times are never likely to be seen again. The film begins in Jayapura, the capital of Irian Jaya, before the group flies into the rugged Central Highlands to Balium Valley. Further south the team travels by canoe to the vast swampy rainforest that runs down to the Arafura Sea concluded by a visit to a remote tribe on the Brazza River, leading to a self confessed cannibal, who reveals how he disposed of his victims.
