A modern day Robinson Crusoe story. A typical Australian suburban couple, Damon and Deanne Howes, spend a year isolated in the wild and rugged coastal region of south west Tasmania. They were sponsored by Australian Geographic and had to face incessant gales, food shortages and incredible strains on their relationship.
