Wilma Reading Story, The

Jazz singer Wilma Reading spent most of her career abroad with little fame or recognition in her own country. Throughout her 40 year career she performed with some of the hottest jazz musicians around the world, entertained thousands of fans, sizzled on screen and even tried her hand at acting. Now in her seventies, she has returned home to Cairns and spends her time imparting her musical knowledge to the next generation.
