Wonderful World Of Leon Pericles, The

The program looks at this well known Western Australian artist's work, beginning with his early student days, then his development of the fictional outback town of 'Widjimorphup' and the resulting major exhibitions in Australia and London, to his current work. His whimsical and childlike way of viewing the world is appealing. His unique use of various media, including his etching process, collage, kites and stained glass, sustain interest throughout.
