Youth at the Zoo

Taronga Zoo is recognised as being rated amongst the top zoos around the world. With a wide array of wildlife and scenic views over the harbour, many international and domestic visitors make it a ‘must do’ when visiting Sydney. Behind the scene, a number of Indigenous youth volunteers known as YATZ (Youth at the Zoo) toil away during school holidays, ensuring animals are well fed, cleaned and presentable for public.
