In the Land of Wolves
A gentle weave portraying the inhabitants of a small village in the Caucasus mountains that seemingly is lost in time. The story teller is the most progressive of the farmers, the deaf and dumb Jimmy. Around him are his animals, his steadfast parents and a village of subsistence farmers. Emzari is the Ossetian boy who wants to be a tractor mechanic, Ruslan is the wayward Chechnyan who wants to start a tourist venture, Jean Jauqes the french baker with plans for a biodynamic farming culture. What will happen with each of these hopes and dreams and how will the old villagers respond to the shake up?
