Completing a Master of Arts: Screen Business and Leadership (AFTRS) in 2021, Mel has had numerous roles as producer, writer, director, editor and cinematographer in over 100 fiction and corporate screen works. He's twice received the Blue Leadership Award at the University of Canberra for services to the UC Media Society (formerly the UCU Film Production Society, which won Society of the Year in 1999, 2000 and 2002). Industrious, kind and creative, Mel grew up in inner-west Sydney and still resides there.
