THE COW THIEF is a peculiar black comedy that explores the relationship between a boy, his mother and his recently deceased father through the arrival of a new man on the scene. This 'cow thief', casually posing as a distant relative, plans to settle for more than just the cows after he manages to assume the vacant position of the abusive patriarch in the household that cannot function without one.
