Matt is a director/writer and showrunner/EP with more than twenty five years of international experience across diverse genres of docs, film and TV. He is a former environmental/marine scientist and a uniquely skilled marine specialist. Matt’s first feature film (as co-writer) the indie thriller, ‘Caught Inside’ won official selection at SxSW. Recent projects include headline specials for DISCOVERY SHARK WEEK (US), major feature length expedition docs for National Geographic and streamers, as well as award winning ob-doc series like ‘Ambulance’, factual true crime and comedy. Matt is currently developing two feature screenplays – the shark based creature feature ‘Cluster’ and the thriller ‘Marooned’ as well as multiple series outlines.
