The Screen Guide

In 1914, polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton led the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Regarded as the last major expedition of the Heroic Age of Antarctic Exploration, it was to be the first to cross Antarctica coast-to-coast. Shackleton failed in his attempt, but the events that transpired form one of History’s greatest stories of leadership and survival. When modern day adventurer Tim Jarvis recreated the famous events of Shackleton’s voyage, he discovered that climate change had drastically impacted the region. Follow in the footsteps of Shackleton and Jarvis, experience the adventure first-hand and see for yourself the effect climate change has had on the Antarctic region over the last 100 years.
