The Screen Guide

The documentary charts an aeroplane's 14,000 kilometre journey back to Australia after 18 years in Arizona, USA. It combines archival footage of Connie, the aeroplane, with the history of how Qantas used the plane to open Australia to the rest of the world in the 1950s and early 1960s. The final stage traces the return flight to Australia.
