Betty Ryan, hot-shot advertising agency owner fails to arrive at work one day and her staff assume she has taken a much needed holiday. However, Betty upon discovering she has cancer, now spends her days in the peaceful confines of the park opposite her agency, where she makes a final effort to commune with nature and rediscover her soul. In the park she befriends Paul, a young park ranger, and over four chance meetings espouses her value and picks Betty as a derelict. This rash miscalculation costs him dearly...Meanwhile things are not as they should be at the agency and Betty is reluctantly drawn back into the fray.
