The Screen Guide

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY explores Australia's rich bohemian tradition, from the modernist party animals of the 1920s to the postmodern subcultures of today's inner cities. It is both a history of visions that have changed our nation and a celebration of the eccentric artists and thinkers happy to defy the conventions of their time for the sake of their beliefs. Over the last century the torchbearers for new ideas have self consciously styled themselves 'bohemians', standing apart from the established cultural elite and the mass of suburban Australians, living wild and eccentric lives.
