The Screen Guide

A history of the construction of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, produced to celebrate the Golden Anniversary of its opening. The program combines present-day aspects with historical black-and-white film footage, still photographs, graphics and interviews, including Doctor Peter Sperrett, author of a book on the bridge; artist Lloyd Rees; bridge workers and others. The narrator is veteran Australian actor Ray Barrett.
