The Screen Guide

Northern Territory filmmaker Sally Ingleton tells the story of Samran and Ervin Lapitz, tropical fruit growers who sell at the Darwin markets. Ervin who literally walked out of Hungary in the fifties, lured Samran away from her Thai family and brought her to the Territory. Together they have hunted buffalo, skinned crocodiles, trapped crabs, lived on the move and in the bush, raised a family, and in recent years worked their own land.
