The Screen Guide

How relevant is the church in our daily lives? This program reveals some startling facts, based on a recent study of Australian religious habits, which revealed that 79 percent of us say we believe in God, but only 22 percent attend church on Sundays. The program is presented by religious author Dr. David Milliken, who also presented the ABC series The Sunburnt Soul. He talks to evangelist Clarke Taylor; Doctor Phillip Hughes of La Trobe University, who has prepared a comprehensive study into Australian religious habits; and the Reverend Ted Noffs of Sydney's Wayside Chapel. He also interviews a selection of young people, church-goers and clergymen.
