The Screen Guide

This program looks at the crododile, and attempts to educate viewers to an understanding of how to live with this feared prehistoric beast. It also examines and contrasts the varying attitudes about crocodiles held by Australians. Those taking part are Galarrwuy Yunupingu, Chairman of the Northern Land Council; Max Cumming and Peter Leach, residents of Nhulunbuy, in crocodile country; Doctor Colin Jack-Hinton, Director of the Northern Territory Museum of Arts and Sciences; and Peter Whitehead, of the Northern Territory Conservation Commission.
